Frequently Asked Questions

We offer many unique and delicious flavors of gourmet cookies. Each is made in small batches, using high quality ingredients. Our cookies are generously sized at a little over 3 1/3 ounces each (95-100g).  

Our custom birthday cookie kit is the exception, at 6.75 ounces, or about 200 grams, which you can easily share among 4 people. 

Contact us any time Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm. Our pickups are on the weekend, by arrangement (via Hotplate weekly pre-order, or arrangement at time of custom order)

We require the following notice for custom orders. Please use the following as your guide.

For pickup on...

Monday after 5pm, order by Thursday at noon

Tuesday after 5pm, order by Friday at noon

Wednesday after 5pm, order by Friday at noon 

Thursday after 5pm, order by Monday at noon

Friday after 5pm, order by Tuesday at noon

Saturday or Sunday, order by Wednesday at noon 

We appreciate (and may require) more time for very large orders (more than 4 dozen) or during holiday periods. Please inquire as early as you can.

If you're just ordering a few cookies, you can pre-order for weekend pickup by clicking the "Cookies For Weekend Pickup" button, where you'll see what we have available for pre-order.

Please contact us anyway. We may be able to accommodate on a limited basis, depending on the size of your order. 

We offer custom curated orders for any occasion - start the process by contacting us via the "Custom Order" button or at erin@blueribboncookies.com. 

We also offer pre-orders for weekend pickup. Click the "Pre-Order for Weekend Pickup" button to be taken to our Hotplate storefront, where you can pre-order our weekly offerings and pick up on the weekend.

For custom orders, we use Square invoicing and will require full payment at the time of your order.

We do not have a traditional storefront location. We are a micro-bakery operating from a home kitchen registered with San Diego County. 

At this time we do not ship orders, and we do not deliver customer orders of fewer than 4 dozen. 

We do offer delivery of large orders of more than 4 dozen, and that can be arranged when we work out the details of those orders. Delivery starts at $10 in the 92130 zip code and varies depending on distance and any special packaging or setup needs. Please inquire when placing your order.

At this time, we do not have vegan or gluten free options on our menu. However, there are many excellent bakers in San Diego that do specialize in vegan baked goods, and many who are exclusively gluten-free.  We encourage you to check out Maya's Cookies for amazing vegan cookies.  Also check out Starry Lane Bakery's beautiful gluten-free products.
